This or That: Evolve Bowl

This or That

One Bowl, Two Ways

The Evolve Tapered Bowl has one of those silhouettes that reads completely differently depending on what you put in it. Low, wide, and quietly architectural, it can be a sculptural centrepiece or a working herb garden — sometimes on the very same patio. Here are two ways we styled the exact same bowl. Tell us… which one is yours?

This

The Sculptural One

By the pool, we leaned into structure. A mix of echeveria, sedum, and hens-and-chicks sit nestled in smooth white river stone — the kind of planting that looks intentional from day one and asks almost nothing of you after that. Succulents love the heat, sip water slowly, and hold their shape all season, which makes this build ideal for sunny spots you'd rather enjoy than fuss over. The tapered black bowl does the heavy lifting; the stone keeps everything crisp and contained.

That

The Edible One

On the deck, the same bowl becomes a garden you can actually cook with. Topped lavender anchors the centre, surrounded by rosemary, lemon balm, and mint, with a silvery licorice plant trailing over one edge. It's fragrant the moment you brush past it and useful the moment you reach for it — a few snips for the grill, a sprig for your glass, a handful for tea. Herbs are right at home in the bowl's generous, low profile, and the open shape gives trailing varieties room to spill.

Or skip the debate entirely.

Can't choose? You don't have to. The Evolve Bowl comes as a set of two — so one can hold your sculptural succulents while the other earns its keep as a herb garden. Same clean lines, two completely different jobs, both crafted from post-consumer polypropylene that's built to last season after season.

Bring life to your home and garden.
